The Rise of Shared Computing Resources

Everyday companies are addressing increased data storage demands in addition to increasing power costs and demands.

This is an interesting article on a the rise of shared computing resources from the Data Center Journal.

The article doesn't address some of the security concerns that cloud computing has initiated. Rather it focuses on the companies desire to implement the technology as a more cost advantageous solution.

Its time for Super Computing 08!

Super Computing is considered "the premiere international conference for high performance computing (HPC), networking, storage and analysis". This year marks the 20th anniversary of the conference.

This year the conference will take place November 15th to the 21st.

The event is jam packed with educational seminars and tutorials, training, workshops and more than 265 exhibitors.

Server Technology to exhibit at Interface F2F in Salt Lake on November 12th.

Server Technology will be exhibiting as part of Interface F2F in Salt Lake on November 12th.

The focus of Interface is to provide educational seminars "customized to the specific needs of the local business community".  With this goal in mind the conference is established in conjunction with members of a local advisory panel which consists of CIO's, IT Directors and other technology experts.

Whether your goal is to increase equipment density or reduce downtime this is an excellent opportunity to discuss your data center goals and evaluate how our products can help you to accomplish those goals.

LISA 08 on November 12th and 13th in San Diego, CA

Server Technology will exhibiting as part of the LISA 08 show at the  Town & Country Resort and Convention Center. You may still register on site for the conference which takes place from November 9th - 14th.

The exhibition portion of the show is taking place November 12th from 12:00am to 7:00pm and 13th from 10:00am till 2:00pm.

LISA show Vendors will have technical people on hand to address technical questions you may have.

ITEC Atlanta

Server Technology will be exhibiting at the ITEC Atlanta show on November 12th and 13th at the Cobb Galleria Convention Center.

ITEC focuses on seven "key themes" as the basis for the program.

These include: Security, Virtualization and Data Center, Cloud Computing, Unified Communications and VOIP, Enterprise and Social Media Software, Consumerization and the Next Workplace and Green IT.
